Founding Product Manager
The role
You’ll be our first product hire and work directly with the three founders. This role is forward-deployed: you’ll spend real time with dispatchers and back-office teams at our customers, and turn what you see into designs and working prototypes we can ship the same week.
What you’ll do
- Run discovery with transport companies: sit next to dispatchers, map how orders, trips, delivery notes and invoices actually flow, and find the exceptions that eat up their day.
- Own the UX of the product: flows, screens and interactions for people who work fast, on dense data, under time pressure.
- Prototype before we build: turn an idea into a clickable, working prototype with AI tools like Claude Code, put it in front of a dispatcher, and iterate before engineering commits to it.
- Own customer onboarding end to end: process mapping, configuration, data migration from legacy systems, go-live. Each go-live should be faster than the last one, and should tell us what belongs in the product and what is a one-off.
- Write clear specs and acceptance criteria, prioritise the backlog with the founders, and test what ships before customers see it.
- Define and track the metrics that matter: trips handled per dispatcher, time to go-live, share of daily work that runs through the product.
- Join sales demos and help turn a prospect’s processes into a credible plan.
What we’re looking for
- 2–5 years in product management or implementation on B2B software, ideally operational software (TMS, ERP, WMS, field operations).
- Strong UI/UX design skills: you design clear flows and screens for complex, data-heavy software, and you have a portfolio or case studies to show it.
- You prototype with AI tools (Claude Code or similar) to get working prototypes in front of users. You don’t need to be a software engineer, but you’re comfortable building to learn.
- Structured thinking: you can take a messy process and turn it into a model, a flow and a list of decisions.
- Fluent Italian and English.
Nice to have
- Experience in transport, logistics or freight.
- You’ve shipped LLM-based features or designed workflows around them.
- Familiarity with Italian transport paperwork (DDT, CMR) or invoicing flows.
